Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the StepCounter mobile application. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StepCounter, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StepCounter for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to: • Use the app only for lawful purposes. • Provide accurate profile information (height, weight) for proper calorie calculations. • Keep your account credentials secure. • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the app. • Not use the app in any way that could damage or overload our servers.
4. Health Disclaimer
StepCounter is a fitness tracking tool and is not a medical device. Step counts, calorie estimates, and distance measurements are approximations and should not be used for medical decisions. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any fitness program. We are not responsible for any injuries or health issues resulting from the use of this app.
5. Limitation of Liability
StepCounter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to StepCounter at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
